About Husmus

Husmus was founded in 2019 by husband and wife team Sarah and Mattias Wernér. We started Husmus because we believe that everyone should be able to easily access homes at reduced costs. Husmus exists to address inequalities and discriminations in private renting. We have changed the way tenants are assessed and provide insurances to negate the restrictive up-front deposit scheme and protect landlords.

We see a future where every renter and landlord uses Husmus to make their journey easy, affordable and most importantly a pleasant experience.

About You

You are an experienced B2C marketing manager with a passion for building brand awareness and community. You are not afraid to jump into all aspects of customer acquisition and retention. While you may not be a master at every marketing lever you have your strengths and are not afraid to expand your areas of responsibility.

You are comfortable leading campaigns and being responsible for underlying tactics. You are comfortable taking the initiative to flesh out the details of a marketing strategy and you actively offer suggestions for ways to make it even better.

You love writing, have experience developing narratives and persuading people to try something new, and you care about producing content that will resonate with a broad global audience.

You will be our first hire for the marketing team and so this is a role you can really grow into and shape. We value experience but don't be discouraged if you don't have bags of it. What You'll Do

• Drive our go-to-market plans from audience definition, development of core value proposition, to launch and sustain product growth through owned, earned and in-product channels.
• Take responsibility of our tactics from content creation, email marketing to PR.
• Work closely with the founding team and early customers to understand and shape the acquisition, onboarding and retention journeys.
• Collaborate closely with design, engineering, data, marketing agencies and freelancers to deliver on marketing KPIs.
• Develop compelling narratives that differentiates Husmus and communicates our value ensuring that the right messages hit the right audiences at the right time.
• Own our messaging and work across teams to create compelling written, audio and visual content for our social media, website, and blogs that engage our community.
• Be willing to understand the ins and outs of the landlord/tenant landscape, conduct market analysis, understand our competitors, and keep track of the evolving market landscape.
• Understand the needs, pains, and dreams of our users. Actively participate in discovery stages of product development work and contribute ideas and recommendations to the product roadmap.
